Salon Policies

Retail Policy
Due to COVID-19, we are not accepting returns. If a product is damaged, it may be exchanged for the same product.

Method of payment
We do not accept Discover cards or Apple pay. We accept all other major credit cards. Due to COVID-19, WE ARE NOT ACCEPTING CASH.

Pricing
We at Rumors Salon and Spa and Rumors IV Men reserve the right to modify, discontinue or raise prices on certain treatments or services without notification to ensure that maximum standards of service and quality are met.

Cancellations
We value you as our guest and appreciate your cooperation with our reservation policy. Please provide a minimum of 24 hours notice when canceling or rescheduling. Because your booked service is a guaranteed reservation we require a credit card to hold the following types of appointments: Eyelash extensions, hair extensions, Keratin treatments, massages, facials, makeup, and spa parties of 3 or more. To change or cancel your appointment, call (518)786-1777. If you fail to call to cancel your appointment and do not come, you will be charged 50% of services booked.

Services to Minors
Salon – Although not necessary, we highly recommend that a parent or guardian accompanies any minor who is looking to get color services done.

Spa – Children under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian and sign a waiver. Children under the age of 18 are not allowed in the spa or spa waiting area unless receiving services.

For Your Comfort in the Spa
We request a client profile form be filled out prior to certain services for your safety and comfort. Information may include medical and personal and is all confidential to necessary staff.

Corrective Color Understanding
We ask that for your information you sign an understanding agreement for all color correcting services. This would be signed in salon with your designer available for any further questions.
