We are looking for experienced barbers with an established clientele to join our elite team. Candidates must be available to work nights and weekends.
Ideal candidates must possess the following skills and experience:
- 5+ years of experience in an established barber shop or salon
- Warm, friendly, confident and outgoing personality
- Enthusiastic and positive attitude
- Strong interpersonal and customer service skills
- Cosmetology license is required
- Flexible schedule a must
Hair Designer
The Capital Region’s leading salon and spa, Rumors is seeking master stylists to join our growing team of award-winning professionals. We are looking for experienced designers with an established clientele to join our elite team. Candidates must be available to work nights and weekends.
Ideal candidates must possess the following skills and experience:
- 5+ years of experience in an established salon
- Warm, friendly,confident and outgoing personality
- Enthusiastic and positive attitude
- Strong interpersonal and customer service skills
- Cosmetology license is required
- Available to work nights and weekends is a must

Massage Therapist
The Relax Spa at Rumors; here we grow again! We are looking for the healing hands of a dedicated and passionate Massage Therapist who also has been trained in healing modalities, such as Reiki or any other energy therapies. We are looking for team members who will fit into our spa culture of support, understanding and positive energy.
Ideal candidates will possess the following skills and experience:
- NYS Massage Therapists license
- At least 1 year experience doing Massage professionally
- Feels comfortable recommending and selling home care products for clients
- Personable and able to create ongoing business relationships with guests/clients
- Respectful of Spa rules and regulations
- Mature, and believes in working together as a contributing team member

Stylist and Color Training
We offer an exclusive assistant training program, classes through Goldwell as well as classes at the Goldwell Academy in New York City. We have a newly redesigned, structured learning program to advance our designer’s hair and professional skills.
Nail, Massage and Esthetics Training
We offer learning advancement through product knowledge training with Yonka, Eminence, Image skincare specialists and more. We value our skilled worker’s product knowledge to give our guests quality and up-to-date services.
Aesthetician
